Fabric Care

Silk is the strongest of all natural fibres.  Being a natural fibre it breathes -  therefore it is warm in winter and cool in summer.
All of our items are dry cleanable.
Those items made in 2-comb silk are washable.   This includes most of the Classics range.  When washing silk, always wash in cool water, only use a soft detergent, such as “Softly”.  Never use hot water or harsh detergent.
Items may be ironed.  All irons have “silk” on their thermostat.
We recommend dry-cleaning all items that have intricate designs, silk organza, lace or beading.

How do I purchase LIVING SILK


You can contact one of our stores or visit our Showroom in Paddington or Brisbane city. Phone your order through to Head Office or Order on-line with the use of our Order Form. Fill out the form and either phone in, fax or post it back to Living Silk

What credit cards can I use to purchase?
The following cards can be used: Master Card, Visa Card, American Express.

How safe are my Credit Card details?
When you fill out the fax form with your credit card details and fax it back we send the credit transaction directly to the bank. We do not transfer those details to others for their commercial use.

Once I have placed my order, how long does it take?
If the item is in stock, between 3 - 5 working days depending on stock availability. If we are making the item especially for you, 4 - 6 weeks. We will advise you of your delivery date upon receipt of order.

Pricing
Do you convert my total into other currencies?
No. We will bill your credit card in Australian dollars and your card company will convert the charges for you.

Australian GST?
All prices on line and in store include GST. GST is payable on all goods.

We cannot accept responsibility for delays in delivery due to unforeseen circumstances (eg: Strikes etc.). All colours of items are reproduced as accurately as possible, however a slight variation may occur in colour . Colours may appear slightly different via this web site and in the catalogues due to computer picture resolution and individual monitor settings.
We accept no responsibility if items are handled outside our recommended care instructions.

We reserve the rights:
to cancel any order, at which time, we will immediately notify this action by e-mail or phone, using the e-mail address or number/s provided. We will refund the monies paid using the original method received.
